Firecracker 5K Run/4K Walk
Celebrate summer with a patriotic bang! This race is sure to be a fast one on the flat Renfro Valley course. Proceeds benefit the Mount Vernon Lions Club.

Registration & Pricing
Registration Fee: $20.00 (includes event t-shirt if registered by Monday, June 29th. Shirt inventory may be limited after June 29th).

- Overall male and female race winner
- Top three male and female runners in each age group: 12-under; 13-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+
- Top three fastest male and female walkers
Student Strides 2026
ALL students age 4-18 run FREE! No shirt included, but may be added for an additional fee. Students completing at least 7 races will receive a $25 gift card and custom t-shirt at the end of the 2026 series. Students must run or walk to be eligible for awards and incentives.
