Firecracker 5K
The Ansonia Fire Department is holding its annual Firecracker 5K on July 4th, 2026. The race starts at 8:00 AM at Ansonia Local Schools West Parking Lot.
Early sign-up discounts are available before June 21st. No day-of-race registration. T-shirts are included with registration sign-ups until June 21st, with an option for DRY FIT shirts.
Award medals will be given to the top 3 in every age category (Male and Female), as well as the top 3 overall male and female finishers, and the first-place team overall.
The race will follow the same beautiful and shaded country road course as in previous years.
