Finteler Triathlon
The Finteler Triathlon, an annual family-friendly event, takes place in Fintel, Germany. It caters to all age groups and performance levels, featuring a swim in the Fintel outdoor pool, a flat cycling course through Fintel, and a run through the town center. The event is scheduled for the first Sunday in September.

Distances and Competitions
The Finteler Triathlon offers a variety of competitions:
- Großer Triathlon (Olympic Distance): 700m swim, 32km bike, 10km run. For ages 2010 and older. Available for individuals and teams (staffel).
- Kleiner Triathlon (Sprint Distance): 400m swim, 21km bike, 5km run. Ideal for beginners. For ages 2010 and older. Available for individuals and teams (staffel).
- Schülerstaffel (Youth Team Sprint): 400m swim, 21km bike, 5km run. For ages 2009–2014.
- Schülertriathlon (Youth Triathlon): 200m swim, 10.5km bike, 2.5km run. For ages 2011–2014.
- Swim & Run 1: 200m swim, 1.25km run. For ages 2017/2018 (possibly 2019).
- Swim & Run 2: 300m swim, 1.25km run. For ages 2015/2016.
Event Schedule (approximate)
- Swim & Run: Registration opens around 10:00, mandatory briefing at 10:45, races start at 11:00 and 11:15.
- Triathlon (Youth, Olympic, Sprint): Registration ends 11:45, mandatory briefing at 12:00. Schülertriathlon starts at 12:10, Großer Triathlon at 12:20, Kleiner Triathlon from 14:00.
- Award Ceremonies: Approximately 17:30 for all categories.
