What is the Find-Your-Peak Challenge?
Peak bagging with a twist! Peak bagging is when a hiker, climber, or mountaineer sets a goal to attempt to reach a collection of summits! We will conquer 6 peaks!
If you join us for all 6 hikes in this series, you will receive a special prize for completing the challenge!
PRIZE:
If you complete all 6 peaks, you will be invited to two of our annual camp-outs at a 10% discount (Choose a campout of your choice, availability applies)
Join whenever!
You can join the series at any time, whether you want to join us for one hike, or the entire series (highly encouraged). No need to start from the beginning; you can tackle the previous hikes in your spare time.
What to expect:
Our peak challenge for February is Montara Mountain in the Pacifica/Moss Beach area. This hike is rated as moderately challenging with 7.4 miles round-trip and a 1,778ft elevation gain. The amazing ocean views at the summit are worth all the effort!
We will meet at the trail head, and start the hike bright and early. Whether you're a seasoned trailblazer or a novice explorer, join us as we conquer new heights together.
Schedule:
We will meet at the trail head. After the hike, we are going to Sam's Chowder house for a sunset and full moon view with great food.
