Ey up It's Baltic in Bridlington
A coastal out and back running event organised by Its Grim Up North Running. The event base is behind The Ship Inn, Cliff Road, Sewerby, Bridlington YO15 1EW. The route follows coastal paths and the paved promenade between Sewerby and Bridlington.

The course is described as generally flat and runnable. Road shoes are advisable. All races are Trail Running Association licensed under UKA rules. The course is fully marshalled and signed, though not every junction will have a marshal. Downloadable GPX files are available for all distances.
The event is cup free so runners should bring a reusable bottle or cup. Feed and drink stations are provided approximately every three miles. Toilets are available at the start and finish. Finishers receive a bespoke medal. A hot meal at The Ship Inn is included in the entry and vegetarian options are available; because this is provided there will not be the usual range of sweets and cakes at the finish area.
Practical notes include limited parking at The Ship Inn with parking fees on the day and additional nearby Sewerby car parks. Over ear headphones are not permitted; bone conduction or single earphones that allow ambient sound are allowed. Transfers and deferrals can be self managed online and deferrals must be made one week before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Registration opens at 8:00 am. Please allow at least one hour to park, register, and use the facilities before your race.
Cup-Free Event
We’re a cup-less race — to reduce waste, please bring your own reusable bottle or cup. Feed stations every 3 miles provide water and snacks.
Headphones Policy
For your safety, over-ear headphones are banned. Bone-conduction or “one in, one out” earphones are permitted so runners can hear marshals and other participants.
Route Navigation
Downloadable GPX files are available for all distances. While our courses are clearly marked and marshalled, not every junction will have a marshal. Please familiarise yourself with the route before race day.
Withdrawals & Distance Changes
If you need to withdraw mid-race, please notify the nearest marshal. In some cases, you may be able to change to a shorter distance on the day — just speak to the Race Director or timing team.
Transfers & Deferrals
You can easily self-manage transfers and deferrals through our website, deferrals need to be done 1 week before the event.
