Essex Fun Fest 5k Walk, Run, and Wheel
The third annual Essex Fun Fest 5k takes place on July 5, 2026 at Sadler's Nature Park and Trail, 182 Forest Avenue, Essex, Ontario, Canada. The event is organized as a non profit and all proceeds go to the Essex Area Food Bank.
The 2026 route is a new out and back loop within Sadler's Nature Park and along the Sypher Systems Group Greenway. The entire course is wheelchair accessible. Park access points include the pathway off Victoria Ave, the parking lot off Keown St, and the pathway off Thomas St. The start line is at the joining of the Victoria and Keown paths or the first left pathway when using the Thomas entrance.
Registered participants receive a pre race warm up, a finisher medal for both run and walk, a branded t shirt and tote bag, a reusable water bottle, entry into raffle draws, and post race refreshments. Chip timing is provided by WRACE and awards are given to winning participants.
Online registration is open until July 3, 2026. Last minute entries are allowed on race day with an increased fee payable by cash or cheque. The lead sponsor is BrokerLink. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
