Eintracht MainSprint Triathlon
The Eintracht MainSprint Triathlon will take place in Neu-Isenburg on Sunday, September 6, 2026. This marks the first-ever triathlon organized by the Triathlon department, after 28 previous duathlon events. The sprint triathlon is designed for ambitious athletes, featuring the second shortest of the classic triathlon distances.
Race Details
The race consists of three disciplines:
- Swimming: 500 meters in the clear, warm waters of the Strandbad Langener Waldsee.
- Cycling: 20 kilometers on a fully closed, highway-like course along the Bundesstraße 44 towards Neu-Isenburg.
- Running: 5 kilometers, primarily in the shaded city forest of Neu-Isenburg, with a sprint finish in the city's sports park.
Athletes will be provided with water and ISO drinks on the running course. No refreshments will be offered during the swim or bike stages; participants must be self-sufficient. Post-race, complimentary drinks, fruit, and cake will be available in the recovery area.
Special Highlights
The premiere event will also host the final race of the 2. Triathlon Bundesliga Süd and a competition from the new Mixed League of the HTV (Hessischer Triathlon Verband). Competitions will be held exclusively over the classic sprint distance for age groups, the new Mixed League, and the elite athletes of the 2. Triathlon Bundesliga Süd.
