EGRC Training Session - Food Bank Run
Terrain: Tarmac
Minimum requirement to have completed a Couch to 5k/parkrun to attend.
Bright clothing & lights recommended.
This session supports the Food Bank Run initiative. We will meet, run down to The Resound Centre to make our collective donation, and then return to Pomphrey Hill. If you wish to donate but can’t make it to this session, please bring your donations to the sessions on either Monday 17th or Tuesday 18th November.
What to donate (remember, you'll need to carry your donation with you on the run to the Resound Centre - distance 1-2 miles depending on your choice of route):
- Tinned Veg – Sweet Corn, Carrots etc
- Tinned Potatoes
- Instant Mashed Potato
- Tinned Chicken in White Sauce
- Tinned Mince Beef
- Tomato Based Cooking Sauces
- Tinned Fruit
- Tinned Rice Pudding
- Tinned & Packet Custard
- Packet Rice (Microwaveable)
- Long Life Fruit Juice (Orange or Apple)
- Orange or Blackcurrant Squash
- Wrapped Chocolate Biscuits (Kit-Kats, Penguins etc)
- Washing Up Liquid
- Deodorant – Male and Female
- Shampoo / Conditioner
