Eastwood Baptist 5k
Welcome to our inaugural Eastwood Baptist 5k! Our goal is to raise money and awareness for missions that are changing lives locally and around the world. Every dollar goes directly to mission work to help spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Registration Details:
- 5K Registration: $25.00 through August 31st, $30.00 Sept 1st through October 16th, $35.00 on race day
- Kids ½ mile fun run: $15.00 through October 16th, $20.00 on race day
- Sleep in supporter option: $25.00 (for those who wish to donate without running)

Date: October 17, 2026
Location: Haughton High School, 210 E. McKinley Ave, Haughton LA 71037. The race will be held on the west side of campus on N. Hazel St next to the football field.
Start Times:
- 7:30 AM - Kids Fun Run
- 8:00 AM - 5K
Course Description:
The 5K course will begin at Haughton High School (in the football parking lot), travel south on N Hazel St, turning west on E Jefferson Ave and making the loop back onto E Taylor St traveling east. The course will then continue east onto E. McKinley Ave to an out and back turnaround, then traveling back to N Hazel St ending in the Haughton High football parking lot where the race started. The route is very flat and fast with a net zero elevation gain so expect some PR's! Chip Timing and Race Management performed on site by Rad Racing.
Packet Pickup:
Early packet pickup will begin on October 15 at Eastwood Baptist Church at 2810 Highway 80, Haughton, LA 71037.
- October 15: 6 pm - 8 pm
- October 16: 6 pm - 8 pm
- Race morning (Oct 17): 6 am - 7:15 am
Prizes and Awards:
Finisher's medals and t-shirts will be provided for ALL participants! CASH prizes for overall Men and Women: 1st Place - $125, 2nd place - $75, 3rd Place - $50. No age group awards. T-shirts can only be guaranteed if registered by October 2nd.
Volunteers and Refreshments:
Volunteers are always needed! There will be an aid station table at the turnaround point, and there will be refreshments post race. Volunteers please reach out to Alex Lee at 318-509-9729 or email [email protected] if you're willing to help volunteer in any capacity.
