Cool off this summer with an evening triathlon at the well-loved Dorney Lake. A perfect event for all abilities, and a great starter triathlon for complete novices. Come for a dip in the lake and for the lakeside views on the cycle and run legs.

Event summary

Route information

A flat and smooth course at the stunning Dorney Lake nestled within 450 acres of parkland makes this a perfect site for a personal best.
The swim portion of the event takes place within the lake, and from here triathletes cycle the lake's perimeter along the tarmac. The final stretch, the run, will consist of an out-and-back along the lakeside.
These events are suitable for participants of all abilities but perfect for beginners or those just starting out in this event.

Free parking is available at Dorney Lake and will be signposted as you enter the venue. Please bear in mind there could be up to a 20-minute walk to registration depending upon which car park you find yourself in so we advise you to leave plenty of time for arrival.
Nearest Train stations: Slough and Windsor & Eton Riverside

CUT-OFF TIME
No, everyone is welcome, however please get in contact with us at [email protected] if you plan to take more than 3hrs to complete your race as we may need to make special arrangements around the course and event village.
MINIMUM AGES
There are age requirements for the following races:
Standard Triathlon - 17 years old and above
Super Sprint & Sprint Triathlon - 15 years old and above
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
There will be portaloos available in the event village next to the boathouse. The toilets are a short distance from the transition area.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be a water station available on each lap of the 5k course (at around the 2.5km mark). There will also be a bottle of water waiting for you at the finish line. We recommend bringing your own water with you to stay hydrated in the lead up to the event and running with a hydration where possible.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
