Dorfener Stadtlauf 2026
The 23rd Dorfener Stadtlauf will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026. Participants can choose between 5 km, 10 km, or the half marathon (21.1 km). All routes lead into the green Isental, offering a mix of tranquility and music before the finish line on the Stadtplatz.
Probelauf (Practice Run)
A practice run for the Stadtlauf will be held on Tuesday, June 16, at 7 PM. The meeting point is at the Marktkirche Dorfen. The practice run takes place regardless of the weather.
Routes
- Start and Finish: Marktkirche in Dorfen's old town.
- Short Laps (590m / 790m / 1580m): Through the historic old town, popular with spectators for cheering on children and youth.
- 5 km / 10 km (Large Laps): Officially measured 5 km loop through the historic old town and natural Isen meadows in western Dorfen. The 10 km race involves completing the route twice. The course is flat and asphalted, suitable for beginners and aiming for personal bests, with each kilometer marked.
- 21.0975 km (Half Marathon): The Dorfener Half Marathon route is completed twice, passing through the historic old town, Isen meadows, and towards Lengdorf through the beautiful Isental. The route consists of a mixed surface (asphalt, cobblestone, gravel path) with no significant climbs.

Prizes
Children and youth receive a commemorative medal. The three largest participating groups (e.g., companies/clubs) receive prizes up to €150. The top three finishers in the 5 km, 10 km, and half marathon receive prizes and medals.
