This event is part of the 28th Annual Walk for Healthy Living, a national program by The Links, Incorporated, aimed at promoting wellness among African Americans and people of African ancestry.</p><p>Hosted by the Capital City (DC) Links and ten DMV Links chapters, this family-friendly event is free to attend. The highlight of the day will be a morning wellness walk, where participants can walk at their own pace and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of HAINS POINT.</p><p>After the walk, there will be a range of interactive wellness programs, exhibitors, speakers, music, and healthy food.
