Derby Derwent Trail Run
The Derby Derwent Trail Run takes place within Elvaston Castle Country Park in Derby, Derbyshire. The event offers three measured off-road distances that start and finish inside the park and run along trails that include woodland, open parkland and riverside paths beside the River Derwent.
The route surface is predominantly trail and grass with some firm footpaths. Course variety ranges from tree-lined avenues to more open stretches. The route is fully waymarked using pink arrows and pink tape, and marshals are positioned on course. First aid support is available at on-course aid stations and the event centre.
Entries include chip timing, water stations, a finisher's medal and a personalised certificate. Runners collect their bib numbers on arrival at registration and should bring their QR code for collection. The event is based at The Showground, Elvaston Castle Country Park, and images from previous editions show paths through Victorian gardens and wide green spaces around historic architecture.
