Denby Dash 2026 - 10th Anniversary Edition
Denby Dash is the 10th anniversary edition of a village trail race held in Upper Denby, Huddersfield. The senior race follows a scenic rural route that passes through fields, woodland, conservation land and the historic Quaker Village at High Flatts.
The course distance is 5.6 Miles (9 km) with a total ascent of 700 ft. The route is undulating, follows footpaths, and is both waymarked and marshalled. The event has a minimum age of 16 years and an entry limit of 175.
Event features include homemade flapjack for all finishers, prizes for all age categories and best fancy dress, and trophies for the first local man and woman. Junior races are organised separately with separate online entry.
Race headquarters and on-site facilities are at The George Inn, Upper Denby; toilets are available there and free parking is provided at Pinfold depot, about a 7 to 8 minute walk away. Live music and refreshment stalls are provided at The George Inn after the races.
Important Information: Entries are non-refundable; transfers are accepted up to 8pm on 29 August. No entries are available on the day. The race helps to raise funds to support the work of Denby Village Conservation Group.
