Dava Way 50K
The Dava Way 50k is an ideal race for those transitioning from marathons to ultras or for seasoned ultrarunners seeking a challenging 50km event. This trail links the historic towns of Grantown-on-Spey and Forres, mostly following the old Highland Railway line, ensuring a traffic-free, runnable path.
The route offers diverse scenery, from woodland and moorland around Dava Summit (1050ft) to a long descent through the fertile landscapes towards Forres. Highlights include the Divie viaduct, Huntly's Cove, Dava Summit at 321 m/1052 ft, The Breathing Place at Dunphail, the restored Halfway Hut, and two wood sculptures.
