CZrun - Run, Remember, and Do Good
The CZrun is a non-competitive running event taking place in Cardano al Campo on Sunday, September 27, 2026. It's an opportunity for everyone to run or walk in memory of Claudio, transforming remembrance into concrete action: a fundraiser for cancer research with Fondazione AIRC.

Courses
- 10 km non-competitive: A mixed route through nature and the city, ideal for exploring the Ticino Park and the Cardano al Campo territory.
- 5 km Family Run: A route through the heart of Cardano, designed for families and children, to be enjoyed at everyone's own pace.
Registration
Registration starts from a minimum amount, with options to donate more. The proceeds from registration fees, net of organizational costs, will be donated to Fondazione AIRC.
Early Bird Registration: Register by July 31st to guarantee your race pack and event t-shirt.
Online Registration: Access the RaceData portal, create your profile, and register for the event.
On-site Registration: Last-minute registrations will be possible on the event day between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM at the Oratorio San Luigi in Cardano al Campo.
Logistics
- Race Pack & Refreshments: Pre-race collection of t-shirt and bib at Oratorio San Luigi. Post-race pack and refreshments available at the same location.
- Parking: Recommended parking at Piazza Mercato, Via Giacomo Matteotti 25 – Cardano al Campo.
- Start & Finish: Both courses start and finish in Piazza Mercato.
The CZrun is part of the “Autunno Cardanese” weekend, a historic event in Cardano al Campo.
About Claudio Zocchi
Claudio Zocchi was born on April 30, 1984. CZrun was born in March 2026 from a simple yet powerful idea: to keep Claudio's smile running by giving hope to those facing challenges.
