Cuxhavener Marathon
The Cuxhavener Marathon is an annual road race that has taken place in Cuxhaven every May since 2007. In addition to the classic marathon distance, the half marathon and the 10km run, as well as a children's run, have been part of the program since the first event. The offer has now been extended to include a marathon relay, a beginner's run, a walking route, and a 31.65km distance.
The interesting and varied running route with its unique maritime flair is popular with everyone. The start and finish are at the Kugelbake-Halle. The route leads runners past sights such as Alte Liebe, Grimmershörn Bay, and Kugelbake.
The title sponsor is Stadtsparkasse Cuxhaven.
