Curnis Auta Trail (CAUT) - 11 July 2026
The Curnis Auta Trail (CAUT) will take place in Caraglio on Saturday, July 11, 2026. This event offers a challenging experience on the crest of the Valle Grana.
The Races
- CAUT 80K: A unique journey from Caraglio (CN) to Pradleves (CN), traversing the entire crest of the Valle Grana. This race features 4500m of positive elevation gain and is a UTMB 100K qualifying race. Maximum time: 19 hours, with two time gates.
- CAUT 35K: For those seeking a taste of CAUT, this 35km race takes place in the upper part of Curnis Auta, starting from Castelmagno (CN) and finishing in Pradleves (CN). It has 2000m of positive elevation gain and 3000m of negative elevation gain. Maximum time: 10 hours. This is a UTMB 50K qualifying race.
- CAUT 15K: A route to discover the hidden corners of the lower Valle Grana, starting and finishing in Pradleves (CN). This race has 1000m of positive elevation gain. Maximum time: 3 hours.
Race Information
- Maximum Time: 80K: 19 hours (2 time gates: Fauniera refuge after 10.5 hours, Santa Lucia after 16.5 hours); 35K: 10 hours; 15K: 3 hours.
- Aid Stations: 8 aid stations (solid and liquid) for the 80K race.
- Bibs Available: 100 for CAUT 80K, 120 for CAUT 35K, 120 for CAUT 15K.
