Cuilcagh Mountain Running Event
Cuilcagh is a mountain running event in County Cavan held on Saturday 12th September 2026. The course distance is 11.90 km and the total climb is 870 m.
The route has only major junctions marked and GPS devices are not allowed. The event is part of the Ulster Championship and the North West League.
Entry Fees
€7 for seniors and €5 for competitors over 65 and under 18.

Entries open Monday 7th September 2026 at 21:00 and close Friday 11th September 2026 at 18:00. Places available: 0 / 250.
Mandatory Kit
Level B Standard kit is required and must be carried, including: waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, a charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. Random kit checks may be carried out.
