Conservation Park Sprint Duathlon
Race Venue: Conservation Park, 100 Conservation Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32413
Race Parking: Approximately 130 parking spots available. Carpooling is recommended.
Race Format: Run 1.7 miles, bike 9.5 miles, run 2.7 miles on hard-packed gravel trails. This is a USAT sanctioned race. A valid USAT membership or one-day license is required.
Race Number: Your race bib, bike number, and helmet number will be provided in your packet. Ensure your bib is visible during runs and numbers are attached during the bike leg.
Bike Inspection: Athletes are responsible for ensuring their bike is in proper working condition, including plugged handlebar ends.
Bike Check-In: All bikes must be checked in on race morning starting at 6:45 am.

Dropping out: If you withdraw from the race, please inform an official or staff member.
Bike Course: Follow the orange loop around the conservation park (9.5 miles).
Run Courses:
- First Run: Green loop (1.7 miles).
- Second Run: Start with the green trail (buck pond), turn right onto cypress pond trail, then right onto Baxley Homestead to the finish (2.7 miles).
Relay: Exchanges occur in the transition area. Relay teams can consist of 2 or 3 people (all male, all female, or co-ed).
Run Water Station: Available on both run courses, approximately 0.62 miles into each.
Course Markings: Follow trail signs (color-coded) and volunteer directions. Study the courses in advance.

Litter: Please respect the course and its property by not littering.
Restrooms: Available at the conservation park near the transition area.
Timing: Mass-start manual timing system. Finishers receive a numbered popsicle stick for results.
Results and Awards: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female. Top relay team in each division (M, F, MF) will receive an award.
Raffles: Held after the race. Tickets can be bought for $1 each. Winners and age group top finishers receive raffle tickets. Breakdown of tickets awarded is detailed online.
Unsportsmanlike Conduct: Please refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct.

Race Director's Note: This is the first race by the new organizing brand, Sand Dollar Racing, aiming to revive Panhandle triathlons and expand multisport options while keeping costs low.

- Sat, 6/12: 6:45 am - Transition opens, packet pick up/day of registration
- 7:50 am: Transition closes
- 7:50 am: Pre-race briefing
- 8:00 am: Duathlon start (including relays)
- 9:00 am: Expected first finisher
- 10:30 am: Awards + Raffles
Weather/Cancellation Policy: The race will proceed unless there is lightning, which may cause cancellation or delay. No refunds due to weather.
