Community Free Clinic Spirit of America 5 Miler and Fun Run

Event Schedule:
- 5 Mile race starts at 7:00 AM
- Fun Run starts at approximately 8:10 AM
- Race Day Awards at 8:15 AM
Packet Pickup & Registration:
- Friday Evening: Packet pickup and registration ($35 for 5-Mile) from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM at Crossed Eyed Owl Pub, 105 1st Av NE, Decatur, AL 35601.
- Race Day: Sign-up ($40 for 5-Mile) & Packet pick-up from 6:00 AM - 6:45 AM at the small pavilion trailhead by the pickleball building.
Course Details:
5 Mile Course: Starts on the road in front of the parking lot where TC Almon was, circles the Spirit Field on the paved trail, follows the service road along the golf course to the northwest trailhead, and runs the trail back to the small pavilion at the trailhead near the new pickleball building. This course includes 2.4 miles of paved road and 2.6 miles of firm crushed gravel trail. The 5-mile race is chip timed.
Fun Run Course: A loop on the park road and trail. The Fun Run is not chip timed.
Awards:
5 Mile Race: Overall Male and Female, Masters Male and Female. Age group awards will be given for Male and Female in the following categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and above.
Fun Run: No Awards.
Additional Information:
- Register early to guarantee shirt size.
- If extra t-shirts are available, they will be for sale for $10 after the awards.
- Please park in the water park lot or spots along the Spirit Field. DO NOT PARK IN THE LOT BETWEEN THE PICKLEBALL BUILDING AND THE EVENT CENTER.
