Description
We started this run after the loss of our daughter Ava Rose to suicide in 2022. We are drawn as a family to keep her memory alive and shine her light for many years to come. Our mission is to grow our race within the community that she so loved and support mental health awareness through scholarship money, Hope Squads, and help others in our community where needs may arise. We have created our own nonprofit that is called the Ava VanderStelt Scholarship Fund, you can look us up online at https://avavandersteltscholarship.org for our website. Through this fund we can donate 100% of the proceeds from our races back into our amazing community. We believe there is strength in numbers and that community is key.
