Circle of The Dragon - 12 Hour Endurance
This event is a 12-hour endurance race held at Bonita Lakes Park in Meridian, MS. Participants will run a 4.6-mile loop course around the big lake on a Jeep trail road. The course features rolling and increasingly challenging hills over multiple laps. An aid station is located at the start/finish of each loop, providing food, drinks, snacks, GU, and Tailwind. Participants must bring their own hydration containers.
NEW FOR 2026 - Turtle Level Division
A new division for 2026, the Turtle Level, allows participants to run exactly 2 loops (9.2 miles) with no option to continue. This division is designed for those new to higher distances or seeking a shorter participation experience.
Race Format & Awards
The overall winner will be determined by the most loops completed within 12 hours, with tie-breaking based on fastest loop times. Milestone awards are given for completing specific loop counts (Rabbit: 4 laps, Deer: 6 laps, Hawk: 8 laps, Wolf: 10 laps, Bear: 12 laps, Dragon: 14 laps). Awards are also given for Longest Distance Male/Female and Fastest Loop Male/Female. All participants receive a patch and shirt.
Schedule of Events
- Friday, May 9th: Early Packet Pickup 4pm - 7pm at Bonita Lakes Park
- Saturday, May 10th: Race Day Packet Pickup 5:00am - 5:55am. Race begins at 6am.
