Christmas Island Jingle Bell Run
Welcome to the annual Jingle Bell Run! A 5K race through the beautiful Christmas Island light display on General Burnside Island State Park. The race will be at 9:30 pm on December 14th. We will host a costume contest for individuals and teams. Bring us your best Santa’s Sleigh or Reindeer Team and join the fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
This race will donate proceeds of the event to local Burnside youth athletic programs to help spread Christmas cheer throughout the year!
Courses and Prices:
- 5K Run: 3.1 Miles. Prices range from $20.00 to $30.00.
- 5K Competitive Walker: Distance not specified. Prices range from $20.00 to $30.00.
Race Day Instructions & Early Packet Pickup Schedule:
- Friday, December 12: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Early Check-In at Burnside City Hall
- Saturday, December 13:
- 8:00 PM – 9:15 PM: Race Check-In/Registration at the General Burnside Island Lower Gravel Lot (park here)
- 9:20 PM: Welcome & Instructions at the Start/Finish Line in the Upper Lot
- 9:30 PM: Race Begins
- 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Post-Race Refreshments available in the Upper Lot
- 10:30 PM: Awards Ceremony & Thank You in the Upper Lot
