Chippenham Harriers River Run 5k & Fun Run 2k 2026

The River Run is back again for 2026! The 5k River Run and 2k Fun Run follow a largely traffic free multi-terrain route along the banks of the River Avon, starting and finishing in Monkton Park, near the Olympiad Leisure Centre.

The River Run is a great community event which attracts people of all abilities and ages. The 5k distance means that it is ideal for beginners and the inclusion of the Fun Run makes it the perfect summer evening event for families. The 5k is open to anyone aged 13 and over and the Fun Run is for 4 - 15 year olds.

• Prizes in age categories for both races.
• All 5k finishers will receive a Tech T-shirt with a brand new colour for 2026.
• All Fun Run 2k finishers receive a medal.

Fun Run starts 6:30pm, River Run start 7:30pm. ARC Rules Apply. (ARC race permit 26/0579) Online Entries close on 28th June unless the race is full and closes sooner. On the day entries might be available for both the Fun Run and the River Run 5k (cash & card accepted) unless already full.

Event headquarters is at The Olympiad Sports Centre, Sadlers Mead, Chippenham SN15 3PA. Car parking charges apply.
