Chilly Half Marathon: Burlington, 28 February 2027
The Chilly Half Marathon takes place in Burlington, Ontario, with the event based at Burlington City Hall on Brant Street. The course runs along Burlington downtown and the waterfront. The distance is certified by Athletics Canada with certificate number ON-2013-092-BDC, confirming the accuracy of 21.0975 km.
The event is offered both in person and virtually. The virtual race window runs from 26 February to 17 March 2027 and results can be tracked using the ASICS Runkeeper app or submitted manually. Virtual participants receive a finisher shirt and medal and can choose to have their race kit mailed.
In-person race kits include a long sleeve technical shirt available in men’s and women’s sizing and a finisher medal. Race kit pickup must be completed before race day and may be collected on behalf of a registered runner with a copy of the registration confirmation. Baggage check is located inside the Burlington Arts Performing Centre.
The certified course is described as fast and flat and will be open for a total of 3 hours 30 minutes. Pace groups are organized for a range of target finish times. Water stations and portable toilets are placed along the route. Shuttle services and nearby public parking options are provided for participants.
