Charm Bracelet Half Marathon
The Charm Bracelet Half Marathon is a trail running event held on 11th April 2027. The route covers 14.35 miles and follows the coast from Redcar to the historical fishing village of Staithes, using sections of the King Charles III England Coast Path and the Cleveland Way. Runners pass coastal villages, climb cliffs, run on sand and encounter varied underfoot conditions including mud, rocks and tree roots. A notable waypoint is the Circle sculpture between miles 7 and 8.
The course has 1591 ft of elevation and a five hour time allowance to complete the route. There are two marshalled aid stations that provide water and snacks, and first aid is available on the day. Finishers receive a medal and there are trophies for overall and veteran category winners, including male, female and non-binary top finishers and several over-50 and over-60 age categories.
Entries are for people aged 18 and over. Standard entry is £39 with an affiliate rate of £37. Optional coach transport from Staithes to the start is available for £10. Bookings may be transferred to another runner up to four weeks before the event and entries may be deferred once to the following year. No refunds are offered. There is an option to plant a tree instead of taking a t-shirt, and a GPX route is available for download. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
