The 12th edition of the Cavatrail 2.0 will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at Provinciaal Domein Het Leen in Eeklo. New distances and a new course are offered: 5, 10, 20, and 30 km!

In 2026, the 12th edition of the Cavalopers took place on Sunday, February 15. Cavatrail 2.0 added a youth run of approximately 2000m at 11:45 AM, followed by the 8 km race at 12:30 PM, aiming for a family-friendly event. The competition further included distances of 8, 16, and 24 km. It's a winter event where weather conditions can play a role; trail shoes are recommended as 95% of the course is off-road/forest paths.
In 2026, participants received a quality Perelada cava bottle and a healthy bag upon finishing. For enthusiasts, Steff added a surprise Stava segment. The winner and runner-up received a personal free entry for 2027!
Members of the Fitness club FITR Oostburg and Terneuzen could register for one of the 3 distances and receive their entry fee back as a discount on their FITR membership.
Enjoy the beautifully maintained forest of the Provinciaal Domein Het Leen in Eeklo. This trail offers a unique opportunity to visit the domain. Local runners have a short commute, and the atmosphere is convivial.
A warm cafeteria is available for supporters, partners, and children.
