CaniKačinaCross 2026

Join us for the 2nd annual canicross race in the beautiful grounds of the Empire Castle Kačina, near the historic town of Kutná Hora. Experience a unique combination of sport, nature, and history in the castle grounds and its extensive park.

RACE COURSES
- Canicross approx. 2.5 km
- Canicross approx. 4.5 km
- Children's race with dogs approx. 500 m (ages 5-11, with parental supervision)
- Children's race without dogs approx. 500 m (ages 5-11)
Note: Dogtrekking will not be held at Kačina this year. A separate dogtrekking event is scheduled in Kutná Hora on 26.4.2026 (https://dogkutnatrekk.cz/).
CATEGORIES
- Canicross (approx. 2.5 km): Women/Men with dogs up to 9.9 kg, Women/Men with dogs from 10 kg to 19.9 kg, Women/Men with dogs over 20 kg, Juniors (boys/girls)
- Canicross (approx. 4.5 km): Women/Men with dogs up to 9.9 kg, Women/Men with dogs from 10 kg to 19.9 kg, Women/Men with dogs over 20 kg
- Race without dogs (approx. 4.5 km): Women/Men (no age division; junior participation allowed with guardian consent)
- Children's race with dogs (approx. 500 m): Ages 5-11
- Children's race without dogs (approx. 500 m): Ages 5-11
Note: Winners will be announced based on the "FIVE" rule. If a category has fewer than five participants, it may be merged with a similar category. Participants under 18 require written consent from a legal guardian.
ENTRY FEES & PAYMENT
By submitting your application, you confirm that you have read all race propositions and rules!
- Canicross Adults: 400 CZK (until 31.12.2025), 500 CZK (until registration closes). On-site registration not possible.
- Canicross Juniors: 300 CZK (until 31.12.2025), 400 CZK (until registration closes). On-site registration not possible.
- Race without dogs: 300 CZK (until 31.12.2025), 400 CZK (until registration closes). On-site registration not possible.
- Children's races: 100 CZK (until registration closes), 100 CZK on-site.
Children's race participants receive a ribbon, candy, and a treat for their dog. Proceeds from children's race entry fees will be donated to a chosen non-profit organization selected via the Facebook event.
Bank Transfer Details: Account Number: 2103134588/2010. Use your name + surname and category in the payment message.
Payment information will be sent to the email address provided during registration. Payment must be made within 5 working days of submitting the application.

Changes: Modifications can be made until 7.10.2026, midnight. No changes will be possible after this date.
Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable in case of participant withdrawal.
