Canada Army Run
The Canada Army Run takes place in Ottawa, Ontario. The event offers an in person race on September 20, 2026 and a virtual race window from September 4 to 25, 2026. It raises funds for the Canadian Armed Forces community, including Soldier On and Support Our Troops, and participants have raised more than 5.6 million dollars.
Participants can run, walk or roll, either solo or as part of a team. Registration includes a race kit with exclusive merchandise and a dog tag finisher medal; certain combined challenges award a Challenge Coin. A global leaderboard is available for participant comparison.

- Commander’s Challenge 5K 10K 21K Earn dog tags for each distance and a Challenge Coin.
On-course amenities for in person races include kilometre markers, water stations and portable toilets near each aid station. For virtual races, each distance may be completed anywhere during the virtual window and results can be uploaded via the ASICS Runkeeper app, a connected device or manual entry. We welcome participants of all abilities and fitness levels. Challenge yourself to the finish line, or see how you compete with others on our global leaderboard. Participate solo, or create a team for your family, friends or co-workers.
