Lace up your running shoes and join the excitement at Camp El Tesoro in Granbury on January 22-23, 2027, as we launch the eighth annual Camp Classic Trail Run! Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or just getting started, there’s something for everyone with our 5K, 10K, and Kids 1M Fun Run. It’s more than just a run; it’s a journey through the breathtakingly diverse landscape of Camp El Tesoro. From enchanting woods to expansive prairies and serene creek-side paths, you’ll traverse the very essence of nature.

Award Categories
For both the 5K and 10K and The Challenge:
- Male and Female: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over
- Unique awards for Overall Male, Female, Masters Male and Female
- Awards for 1st in each age group and gender for 5K, 10K and The Challenge.
Award Ceremony will be hosted at Camp El Tesoro in the Main Lodge.
Packet Pick-up
- Early Packet Pick up: Friday, January 22, 4 p.m. at the Welcome Center at Camp El Tesoro
- Race Day Pick up: starting at 7:00 A.M. at the Welcome Center at Camp El Tesoro
Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 am - 8:30 am - Runners Check in at Welcome Center
- 8:30 am - Kids 1K Fun Run starts
- 8:45 am - The Challenge (5k & 10K) race starts
- 9:00 am - 5K & 10K starts
- 9:00 am - 11:00 am - Archery Games for spectators & racers
- 11:00 am - Awards ceremony
