Burghley7 in Stamford
Burghley7 is a seven mile road race held on 28/02/2027 with start and finish at Burghley House, Stamford. The course uses closed public roads and routes through the Burghley estate, St Martins High Street and surrounding villages, including Pilsgate, and passes landmarks such as Bottle Lodges, the George Hotel, Town Bridge, the River Welland, Burghley Walled Gardens, Lions Bridge and Burghley Deer Park.

Entry details and event services are provided in advance. Entries must be made before race day; there are no on-the-day entries. The entry fee is £28.00 and includes a finisher medal, free event photos, chip timing, full road closures, advanced medical support, free parking and full event support. Race numbers and timing chips are posted to participants before the event. Minimum age to compete is 16 years.
On site facilities include parking on the Burghley estate, toilets, bag drop at the start line and a staffed medical treatment centre. The main route is tarmac and the finish includes a short grass section; some damp sections may occur. Basic race rules include a prohibition on in-ear and over-ear headphones; bone conducting headphones are permitted. Dogs on leads and buggies are not allowed. Why 7 miles? Because it's the most fantastic course that we could design.

General information
Bag Drop
We have a bag drop facility for you to take advantage of. Drop off is located at the start line. Each race bib has a tear off luggage label. Simply attach this to your bag and hand it into the team. This facility is provided so that you can wear warm clothing for the walk to the start line. Please do not leave valuables in your bags. Items are left at your own risk.
Race Briefing
Will be conducted at the race start line. We will cover a few general safety points and inform you of any changes or notable difference to the course. Please be at the start line at the designated time.
