Bridge of Orchy 10k 2026
The Bridge of Orchy 10k is a multi‑terrain race held on Sunday 1 November 2026. The event is the fifth edition of the BOO 10k and follows a reversed route compared with previous years. The course covers approximately 10 km and combines road and trail sections.
The route starts with a relatively flat road section passing Loch Tulla on the right and the Black Mount Estate opening out ahead. Runners pass the Inveroran Hotel and reach the Victoria Car Park turning point. The return leg follows the West Highland Way trail up the hill, then finishes with a roughly 2 km descent over the Bridge of Orchy with views of Beinn Achaladair, Beinn an Dothaidh and Beinn Dorain.
Entries are limited to 125 runners with a waiting list in place. The race is a Scottish Athletics licensed event and has a minimum age limit of 17 years on race day. Electronic chip timing is used and results are available at the finish.
