Breaking Down the Stigma Addiction and Mental Awareness 5K
Join us Sunday, August 31st, 2025, for the 2nd Annual Overdose Awareness day - Breaking Down the Stigma 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk as we honor lives lost to drug overdose. We will run and walk to remember those lives, as well as raise awareness.

Place: Black River Landing, 421 Black River Ln, Lorain, OH 44052
Start Time: Registration/Packet Pick Up - 8:00am, 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk - 9:00am
Total Event Time: 8am-12pm
Distance: 5K Run/Walk - Chip Timed, 1 Mile Walk - Untimed
Registration:
- General Registration (until Midnight Saturday, August 30th, 2025): 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Walk - $30.00, Kids 12 and under - $15.00
- Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup: 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Walk - $35.00, Kids 12 Years Old and Under - $20.00
Awards: Top finishers will receive medals; all participants will get a ribbon.
Participants Receive: t-shirt, Finisher Ribbon, Purple Memory Candle, Food voucher for food trucks
*Dogs are allowed, but please line up in the back and use a short leash.
