On January 2nd, 2026, Julius Justin Burns lost his battle to addiction at 45 years old. This event is held in his memory to bring dignity to his memory and for those who share or shared struggles with addiction or any chains that bound us. Running became a therapy for the organizer and helped through difficult circumstances. Join us in a safe space, with no judgments, to bring awareness, dignity, compassion, and respect to an ongoing struggle that millions suffer from and remember those we’ve lost to addiction. Come run, walk, or simply be there to watch people cross the finish line.
