Bracknell Samaritans 10K/5K/Kids' Race - 20 June 2026
Join us for the 44th Bracknell Samaritans Run on Saturday 20th June 2026 at Kings Academy Easthampstead Park, Bracknell. This community event features a 5K, 10K, and a Teddy Bear Kids Run, all in support of the local Samaritans branch.
The Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot & District Samaritans Branch is an independent charity, run by volunteers and reliant on donations. All profits from the run directly benefit our local branch, helping us to continue providing a confidential listening service to those in distress.
Race Details:
- 5K Run: Accurately measured 5K loop, suitable for U16 and adult categories. Minimum age 11.
- 10K Run: Completed as two laps of the 5K loop. Minimum age 16.
- Teddy Bear Kids Run: A fun run for children. Pushchairs are permitted.
Course Information:
The accurately measured 5K loop starts and finishes on the grassed sports field, run twice for the 10K. The route is mostly flat and open, passing Peacock Meadows, with an incline at the 2/7 km point, Jennetts Park, and a lightly wooded section called Tarman’s Copse. Terrain is mainly grass and gravel paths with some pavement. Spectators can view most of the route.
Accessibility: The 5K and 10K courses are not suitable for wheelchair users or pushchairs. The Teddy Bear Kids Run is not suitable for wheelchair users but pushchairs are permitted.
Entry Fees:
- 5K U16: £16
- 5K Adult: £26
- 10K Adult: £28
A 10% discount is available for members of clubs who officially promote and support the Run from 01/02/2026. On-the-day entries may be available for an additional £3.00, subject to availability.
Important Information:
- Race Limit: 600 entries available.
- Online Entries Close: 5:00 PM, 19th June 2026, or earlier if capacity is reached.
- On the Day Entries: 08:30-09:45 (subject to availability).
- Payment: Cash or credit/debit card accepted for on-the-day entries.
