13th Annual Boring Marathon, Half-Boring Half-Marathon, Constantly Boring 10K, and Somewhat Boring 5K
Join us on Sunday, September 13, 2026, for the 13th Annual Boring Marathon, Half-Boring Half-Marathon, Constantly Boring 10K, and Somewhat Boring 5K. All races start and finish at Boring Station Trailhead Park in downtown Boring, Oregon.
Parking Information
Parking will be available at Boring Middle School, Naas Elementary School, Boring-Damascus Grange, and the surrounding neighborhood. Please check the updated parking map for nearly 100 additional spots. Respect neighbors by not blocking driveways, fence openings, or fire hydrants, and avoid 'no parking' zones. Use SE Wally Rd and SE School Ave to reach parking after 6:15 am due to runner crossings on SE Dee St.
Course Details
- Boring Marathon: 26.2 Miles. A 2-loop course of the half marathon, USATF Certified (OR24005JH), and a Boston Qualifier. Early starts available for those expecting over 6 hours.
- Half Boring Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles. An out-and-back on the Springwater Trail from Boring Stations Trailhead Park to Towle Ave and back. USATF Certified (OR24004JH).
- Constantly Boring 10K: 10K. A short out-and-back course, starting at the same location as the other races. Sold out fastest in 2025.
- Somewhat Boring 5K: 5K. A short out-and-back course, staying within the Boring area.
- Virtual Options: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K available for those who cannot attend in person.
Race Logistics
- Time Limit: 7 hours for aid stations and traffic control. Finish line remains open. Early starts at 5:30 am are possible.
- Packet Pick-up:
- Friday, September 11: Boring Brewing Co. Tasting Room (38250 Pioneer Blvd, Sandy, OR 97055) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
- Saturday, September 12: Boring Station Trailhead Park (28008 Keller Road Boring, OR 97009) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
- Sunday, September 13 (Race Day): Boring Station Trailhead Park from 5:15 am until each respective race starts.
- Awards: All entries prior to August 23, 2026, are guaranteed a shirt. Medals for all participants, including virtual runners. Unisex cut shirts.
- Refunds & Deferrals: No refunds. Deferrals are offered only in rare circumstances.
- Changing Races: Contact the race director before August 30th. No refund for price differences.
- Registration: No day-of-race registration.
Note: The Boring Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are USATF certified and insured races. Residents of Dull, Scotland receive free registration.
