Join us on June 28, 2026, for the Blue Sky Ascent & Round Trip, formerly known as the Mt. Evans Ascent. This challenging event starts at Echo Lake (10,600 feet elevation) and involves a climb of nearly 4,000 vertical feet, much of it above treeline.
Courses Offered:
- Ascent: A one-way 14.5-mile climb from Echo Lake to the summit of Mt. Blue Sky (14,264 feet).
- Round Trip: A 29-mile course where you run to the summit and then back down.
The finish line for the Ascent is located at the summit of Mt. Blue Sky, a prominent peak on Denver's mountain skyline. Be inspired by the stunning scenery and potential wildlife sightings, including Bighorn Sheep, Marmots, and Mountain Goats.
