Blackburn 10K and Junior Race
The Blackburn 10K and Junior Race takes place at Ewood Park on 6 December 2026. The 10 km race is hosted in partnership with Blackburn Rovers Community Trust and starts and finishes inside the stadium, with a route that goes through Blackburn town centre and past local landmarks.
The event supports Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, a purpose built safe space for young people aged 0 to 25. Blackburn Rovers Community Trust and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council assist with local coordination and road closures to help deliver the race.
Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free official race photos, chip timed results, and post race goodies. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals guide and cheer participants along the route. A race village provides food and drink options and free items from partners. An event t shirt is available at a reduced price when purchased with entry and carries the event logo.
