Black Spur Ultra
Black Spur Ultra is held at Kimberley Alpine Resort and uses nearby single-track and double-track trails. The event features fully off-pavement courses with technical trail sections and significant climbs across rugged mountain terrain.

Elevation gain/loss is listed as 2,230 m for the 54k and 4,460 m for the 108k. Solo runners on the course may use it as a UTMB qualifier. A Kids Race is offered as part of the event program.
Race logistics include a transition area located at the resort where drop bags are allowed for solo runners and teams if needed. Aid stations are staffed at approximately the midpoint of each stage and provide drinking water and snack food; runners are not permitted to leave or pick up cached gear at these stations. The transition area provides water and snack food and permits crew access. The event offers live timing and tracking, professional medical support by EMTs and paramedics, and is capped at 500 entrants.
