The Ultimate Ultra Trail Endurance Race
Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is the highest mountain in Eryri (Snowdonia) and England and Wales. It peaks at an impressive 1,085 m (3,560 feet).
Starting and finishing at the foot of this iconic mountain, your challenge is to ascend and descend Yr Wyddfa as many times as possible in 24 hours. For solo runners, this is the ultimate endurance challenge requiring great physical and mental stamina. The current record is 8 laps - can you beat it? Being UTMB-indexed, this is also a great qualifying or preparation race for UTMB Mont Blanc. The individual challenges include a 50k, 100k, and 100m mile UTMB-indexed challenge.
Snowdon 24 can also be entered as a pair or team (up to 5). Taking part in a relay format, it's a fantastic and unique way for people to come together for 24 hours as friends, colleagues or teammates and work towards a shared goal, whether that's a number of ascents or just to keep going and raise money for charity. Every person in the team contributes, whether they make one ascent or ten.
