Birkhahnlauf TSV Schneeren
The Birkhahnlauf TSV Schneeren is a traditional running event that has been taking place for over 50 years on the Sunday of the last October weekend in Schneeren. With race distances ranging from 500m for children to 5km and 10km for long-distance runners. New this year is a 2.3km course for ages U12 and up.
The special route, located in the middle of the forest, makes the run a great event every time.
Courses
- 0.5 km: For U8, U6 and younger. Start at 10:30 AM. A short cross-country loop through pine forests.
- 1.0 km: For U14, U12 and U10. Start at 10:45 AM. A 1,000m course on paved forest paths and through the pine forest.
- 2.3 km: For U12 to 99 years. Start at 11:10 AM. The course runs on paved forest paths with partly sandy ground through the Häfern around the Engelkenberg, with no significant elevation gain.
- 5.1 km: For Women and Men. Start at 11:40 AM. The marked course with kilometer markers runs on paved forest paths with partly sandy ground through the Häfern around the Engelkenberg, with no significant elevation gain.
- 10.2 km: For Women and Men. Start at 11:40 AM. The marked course with kilometer markers runs on paved forest paths with partly sandy ground through the Häfern around the Engelkenberg, with no significant elevation gain.
Location & Anfahrt
Am Hof Seefeld in Schneeren „Schneerener Straße 16, 31535 Neustadt“ turn towards Schneerener Mühle and then follow the signs, or alternatively follow the GPS data (52°31‘28.2“N 9°18‘23.7“E).
