Biatlonový závod svobody
The Biatlonový závod svobody will take place in Zubří on Monday 28 September 2026. The event starts at 9:30 AM. This race is designed for all enthusiasts of running and biathlon, and anyone who loves movement and freedom!
Race Details:
- Adults: 5 km (five laps of a 1,000-meter circuit), four shooting rounds (2 standing, 2 prone), with a 100-meter penalty loop.
- Children: 1.5 km (three laps of a 550-meter circuit), two shooting rounds (2 prone), with a 50-meter penalty loop.
This is an interval race, with starts every minute. The start and finish line are located near the mountain hut, and the race largely follows a hilly motocross track.
Categories:
- Children: Boys/Girls born 2017-2018, 2014-2016, 2011-2013.
- Adults: Men up to 35 years (born 1992 and younger), Men 36-49 years (born 1991-1977), Men 50+ years (born 1976 and older). Women up to 39 years (born 1987 and younger), Women 40+ years (born 1986 and older).
Entry Fees:
- Until September 24: Adults 350 Kč, Children 150 Kč.
- After September 24: Adults 450 Kč, Children 200 Kč.
- Entry includes food and drink for every participant.
Every participant will receive a medal. A raffle is also part of the event.
Schedule:
- 8:30 AM: Presentation begins
- 9:00 AM: Trial shooting - children
- 9:30 AM: Children's race
- 10:30 AM: Trial shooting - adults
- 10:40 AM: Award ceremony for children's categories, raffle
- 11:00 AM: Adult race
- 1:00 PM: Award ceremony for adult categories, raffle
