Bergisch Gladbacher Stadtlauf
The 29th Bergisch Gladbacher Stadtlauf will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, starting at 6:30 PM on Konrad-Adenauer-Platz in the city center. This event has been a tradition since 1996, kicking off the city and cultural festival. Approximately 1,000 participants are expected.
Participants can choose between the 'Erlebnislauf' (experience run) or the 'Hauptlauf' (main race) and run through the car-free city center. The event is supported by the IG Stadtmitte, SV Blau-Weiß Hand e.V., the sports administration, and numerous volunteers.
Before and after the races, visitors can enjoy a varied program of music, food, and drinks on Konrad-Adenauer-Platz. The award ceremony is scheduled for around 8:45 PM.
Registration
Register now via Laufveranstaltungen Blau-Weiss Hand. Late registration for both runs is available on September 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:15 PM (Erlebnislauf) or 7:00 PM (Hauptlauf) at the Bürgerhaus Bergischer Löwe, Konrad-Adenauer-Platz.
Award Ceremony
The award ceremony will take place around 8:45 PM on Konrad-Adenauer-Platz, followed by a music program.

- Hauptlauf with timing:
Adults: 21 Euro
Youth (born 2006 or later): 11 Euro - Late registration:

Youth: 13 Euro - Erlebnislauf:
All participants: 9 Euro
Late registration: 13 Euro - Group registrations (20 or more participants): 20% discount for both runs.

Awards
Erlebnislauf: All participants receive a certificate, which can be accessed and printed online after the run. The link will be activated after the race.
Hauptlauf: The top three male and female finishers receive awards. Age group awards are given if at least 3 participants finish in that group; otherwise, they are combined with the next lower age group. All finishers receive a printable certificate. The largest registered group, as well as the youngest and oldest participants, receive a trophy.

Liability/Terms of Participation
Participation is at your own risk. Liability is covered by sports insurance. Collected data will be used for organizing and informing about current and future events. Participants consent to the use and publication of photos taken during the event for promotional or reporting purposes.
Age Group Classification
Erlebnislauf: No age group classification or timing. Hauptlauf: Age group classification for all age groups from 2014 onwards, according to German Athletics Regulations 2025.
