Běh o Ludgerův meč
The 3rd edition of the Běh o Ludgerův meč race will take place in Hořičky on Sunday, July 12, 2026. This is a family-friendly race that is part of the PRIMÁTOR CUP 2026 series.
Races and Distances:
- Hlavní závod (Main Race): 8 km
- FIT trasa (Fit Route): 4 km
- Children's Races: 150m, 300m, 500m, 700m, 1400m
Registration and Fees:
Registration is online only at www.sportchallenge.cz from May 1, 2026. No on-site registration available.
- Children/Juniors: 50 Kč until July 8, 2026; 100 Kč from July 9-11, 2026
- Main Race: 200 Kč until July 8, 2026; 300 Kč from July 9-11, 2026
- FIT Route: 150 Kč until July 8, 2026; 250 Kč from July 9-11, 2026
Registration includes chip timing, results processing, and refreshments (cakes, juice, tea) at the finish.
Categories:
Children and Youth: Various age groups for distances from 150m to 1400m.
Adult Main Race (8 km): Age categories for women and men.
FIT Route (4 km): Age categories for women and men (born 2010 and older).
Race Course:
The 8 km and 4 km routes wind through the surroundings of Hořičky, offering views of the Kladské pomezí region. The terrain is gently rolling, with a surface of gravel, forest paths, and minimal asphalt.
Schedule:
- 8:00 AM: Presentation (Registration)
- 9:00 AM - 9:35 AM: Various children's races start
- 10:30 AM: Combined start for the 8 km Main Race and 4 km FIT Route (women and men)
Prizes:
Medals and prizes for top finishers in children's categories. Medals and prizes for men and women in adult categories. Financial prizes for the top three men and women in the absolute main race category. Prizes for the top three men and women on the FIT Route.
About the Race:
Organized by Běžecký klub Náchod z.s. in cooperation with the municipality of Hořičky. This event is part of the 9th annual PRIMÁTOR CUP 2026 and the 38th annual Velká cena Východních Čech v bězích 2026.
