About the race

The Beachrun Blankenberge is a beloved summer classic on the coast. You'll run a beautiful course over the beach, through the dunes, and along the nature reserve 'de Fonteintjes'. The race is part of the 'Loopcriterium van de kust', a popular series of beach runs along the entire Belgian coast. The Beachrun is made possible by Chocomel.

Registration

Register here! Registration via Star-Tracking Bibs can be collected at Beachclub Blankenberge (by Protest) for all distances (1km, 5km, 8km). On-site registrations start from 5 PM at Beachclub Blankenberge (by Protest) - Zeedijk 245, 8370 Blankenberge.

Location & Practical Info

The start and finish are at Beachclub Blankenberge (by Protest) on the Zeedijk. The location offers a beautiful setting, a cozy beach ambiance, and is within walking distance of the start and finish. The organization is handled by the Sportdienst Blankenberge, ensuring a smooth process, clear signage, and a warm welcome. End-of-race refreshments are provided after each race.

Changing Rooms & Showers

Changing rooms and shower facilities are available at De Sportdoze (Koning Albert-I-laan 114b, 8370 Blankenberge). Showers are open until 10 PM.

Accessibility

There are 40 free parking spaces in the Groenstraat, at the bus parking (next to De Sportdoze). Obtain a parking card at the reception of De Sportdoze (while supplies last) and place it visibly behind your windshield. To reduce parking pressure and enhance the event's sustainability, we ask runners to carpool as much as possible. Public transport users should disembark at the tram stop 'Pier', just 50 meters from the start and finish.
