Baker's Dozen Half Marathon, Relay, & 5K

When was the last time you gained weight during a race?! The Baker's Dozen Half Marathon, Relay, & 5K is your opportunity to combine some of the best things in life: 1) Friends, 2) Running, and 3) Sugar! The Baker's Dozen is a social, fun event where runners race a 3.25 mile loop course allowing them to interact with other runners during the whole race. Half marathoners will run the loop four times and have the incredible fortune of passing the aid station (affectionately known as the "Sugar Shack") at the end of every loop. All half marathon and relay runners will receive an AMAZING finisher's medal. But.....you have to earn it. Not only do you run 13 miles, but to earn a medal you must also consume a treat each time you pass the Sugar Shack (3 times total). Volunteers will verify your gluttony, so don't register for the race if you don't plan to eat some calories. (Each relay runner just needs to eat one treat.) Half marathon not your speed? That's ok! Join us for the "just barely over 5K"!

Giveaways
- Finisher medal. 5K finishers will earn a medal by completing the distance. Half marathon runners will earn a medal by running 13.1 miles AND eating at least three aid station treates during the race. A race volunteer will verify that you ate your snack, and will mark your bib.
- Special awards will go out to the three finishers who eat the most treats during the race. Not only will you win an extra award, but you will be crowned the Sugar Slayer!
- Swag! Some options include mugs, towels, shirts, hats. 5K runners will receive a swag item of their choice. Half Marathon runners will receive two swag items of their choice
- Pastries & treats- enough for a full-day sugar high!
- Pepto shots -The Sugar Station will include all the foods you would expect to find in heaven including donuts, cupcakes, cookies, and Twinkies!
Courses
Our course is a fun 3.25 mile loop. Half marathon runners get to run the loop four times while 5K runners will do the loop once. Running a relay? Awesome. Each of the four team members will run one loop. All intersections will be marked. Why loops? Don't knock it 'till you try it! Check out the FAQ Section for more loop info.

Parking
Parking will be at or around Three Falls Park in Hurricane, Utah. The park address is 663 W. 900 S. The easiest way to get to the park is driving on State Street, turn south on 700 W. (at the Chevron gas station) and keep drive nine blocks to 900 S.
