Avon County AA are holding an Open Meeting on Tuesday 30 June under UKA Rules, Licence No OUT 26/138 and is one of a number of Open meetings being organised by Avon through the summer with details below:
· Masters Open (35 years old and older only), 28th June at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex, jointly organised with Yate & District AC –

All Open meetings welcome para-athletes in dedicated and integrated events. If you are a para-athlete wishing to compete, please make contact so we can make the necessary preparations - [email protected]. Experienced para-athletes are welcome to join integrated races.
Open events are available for Under 12, Under 11 and Under 10 athletes (Quadkids - 75m, 600m, Standing Long Jump (SLJ) & Howler Throw) and older age categories from U14s to Masters. This meeting incorporates the Avon Championship Quadkids, U14 & U16 1500m events and the U18/U20/Senior 5000m.
Entries are on-line only. The Closing date for entries is Thursday 25th June. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED.
Any athlete is welcome to enter Open events. The Avon Championship for Quadkids will be incorporated into the Open event. The U14 & U16 1500m Championships will also be incorporated in to the Open races unless there are sufficient entries to justify separate races. The Open and Championship 5000m is a new event and will be a single race.

Quad Kids eligibility - Age qualifications for this will be U12 (Year 5 and 6).
U10 (Year 4) - Aged 9 on 31st August 2026
U11 (Year 5) - Aged 10 on 31st August 2026
U12 (Year 6) - Aged 11 on 31st August 2026
U14 (Year 7/8) - Aged 12 or 13 on 31st August 2026
U16 (Year 9/10) - Aged 14 or 15 on 31st August 2026
U18 (Year 11/12) - Aged 16 or 17 on 31st August 2026
U20 - Aged 18 or 19 on 31st December 2026
Seniors & Masters - Aged 20 or older on 31st December 2026
Photo-finish will not be used at this event
The Provisional timetable is listed below. A final timetable with times for the track heats will be published once the actual entry levels are known.
Maximum number of events is 3 for U14s, U16s and U18s, 5 for U20s and unlimited for Seniors.
Competitors in the horizontal jumps will be allowed a minimum of 4 trials.
Quad Kids: £6 per athlete.
U14s and older: £9 for first event; £3 for a second event and £2 for each additional event.
