20. Auetal-Oktoberlauf
The 20th Auetal-Oktoberlauf will be held around Hamberg in Garstedt.
When?
Sunday, October 4, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM.
Bib pickup from 09:00 AM until 30 minutes before each start.
Where?
Start and finish are at the sports field behind the Auetalhalle, Bahnhofstr. 81a in 21441 Garstedt.
All courses lead from the sports field into the Garstedt nature reserve up to Hamberg.
Distances and Start Times:
- 10:00 AM: 10.5 km Heidjer-Cup
- 10:15 AM: 7.5 km Nordic-Walking
- 10:30 AM: 5.5 km Volkslauf
- 11:30 AM: 800m Schülerlauf
- 11:45 AM: 200m Bambini-Lauf
Course Details:
All courses lead from the sports field behind the Auetalhalle through a short forest path to the Toppenstedter Mühlenweg and from there into the Garstedt nature reserve up to Hamberg.
Drink stations are set up every five kilometers.
What awaits at the finish?
Water, tea, and fruit will be provided at the finish area.
Changing rooms and showers are available in the Auetalhalle.
The award ceremony will take place after the children's races.
How to register?
Online registration is open until October 1, 2026, 2:00 PM.
Late registrations are possible on the day of the event up to 30 minutes before the respective run.
The start fee for the main races is €8.00, late registrations add €2.00.
The start fee for the children's races is €3.00, late registrations add €2.00.
