Arrow Valley - Sprint Distance Triathlon 2026
Worcester Triathlon Club stages a sprint distance triathlon at Arrow Valley Lake in Worcestershire on 5 July 2026. The event comprises a swim, a bike leg through local lanes, and a run on footpaths around the lake.
The Course:
- 800m swim in Arrow Valley Lake
- 20km bike through Worcestershire lanes
- 5km run on lakeside footpaths
The swim is a single lap in Arrow Valley Lake, which holds a certified pass excellent status under the EC Bathing Water Directive (2006/7/EC). The bike route includes a mix of undulating and twisting roads as well as flat sections that run through the local countryside. The run is predominantly flat and follows footpaths surrounding the lake, with spectator support near the finish. Registration, transition, and the finish area are located in the field adjacent to the main car park, close to the café and bar. The central location of the transition and finish area provides good vantage points for spectators. Entry pricing is staged, starting at £49 for a Super Early Bird band (limited to the first 100 entries) and rising through bands to £99 for the final entry window; all prices are subject to a booking fee. A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not British Triathlon Home Nation members and is charged separately. The event lists 100 total places and is shown as open.
